hid only work with hi beams?

so i just put in my h4 cibie headlight conversion with an hid kit and im pretty knowledgeable to the point im about 98% sure i installed them right but they only turn on with my hi beams? is that normal because its an h4?

There should be 3 slots for connectors on the H4 plug. One for the ground, one for the low beams and one for the high beams. Switch the hid connector around until they come on for the low beams.

the kit i got only came with two and one empty slot for the low beam i suppose its the one on the top thats by itself

You need to re-pin the plug. Switch the two NON-GROUNDS around and it'll work. I had the same problem.

OP... I think you have your wire switched. like xX RB Xx said, you just have the high beam and low beam wire switched... attach it to the low beam wire, leave the ground as it is

flip them how because i tried plugging it in opposite and it didnt turn on at all as dumb as i sound saying that lol...
do u mean jus repinning the harness from the car?

and thats exactly where i got the info i used to get the cibies lol
