If someone can help SneakyFish out I would appreciate it as well. I'm a newby as well and I'm also looking at getting the Xentec HIDs. I know there is a TON of threads regarding these, however, I have come across a lot of different prices for these kits and would like to know what's legit.

Thanks,Matt

hey matt thanks for trying to help, it was much appreciated. so i did a little more searching and it seems that the guy in this link has pretty good hids.http://stores.ebay.com/HID-Directjust be careful if and when you order cause some of his stuff are just the bulbs and some are with the ballasts. the ones with the ballasts are about 80

I bought a set of xentec 6K hid for my altima from HID4U and about 8 months later one of the fat ballasts gone bad. Seems like those aren't slim design.

Welcome to the forums! I suggest you guys buy from DDM Tuning. Their HID kits come with lifetime warranty and in my opinion are the best bang for your buck. The only issue I've seen some people have with these are that the wires were switched around, so +/- were actually -/+, not really a big deal just plug them in opposite order. You can find out more info if you search for their products around the forums. Lastly, if you guys haven't checked it out yet, there's a whole section about lighting, exterior, etc in the Altima forums.

I don't have the pic anymore, but I had to remove the front bumper and mounted them. I had 4 ballasts total (2 for low beams and 2 for fogs).
