I have looked through the forum and found the low beams are h11 model bulbs. And i think i read the fogs are the same h11 bulbs....can anyone confirm this? Also looking for possibly upgrading high beams. Are these also H11 bulbs? And I need the plug and play kits for each set i buy correct? Thanks.

OK, you have a Rogue, what's the trim level and year? Do you have Xenon headlights? Did you check the manual, under Maintenance and do-it-yourself 8-25?

Xenon headlight model:
Low beam:
Wattage: 35 Bulb # D2R
High beam:
Wattage: 60 Bulb # HB3

Halogen headlight model:
Low beam:
Wattage: 55 Bulb # H11
High beam:
Wattage: 60 Bulb # HB3

Since he said he has H11 low beam bulbs, he has a model with halogens... Unless he is talking about his Altima coupe and simply posted in the wrong forum.

Hey OP, I would advise against putting HIDs in ANY of your lights....

Your reflectors are designed for halogen bulbs. Halogen bulbs and HID bulbs have different optics. If you put an HID bulb in a halogen reflector it will cause a great deal of glare for oncoming drivers. You may think it is brighter, but you are putting brighter light in all the wrong places and it will only hinder your distance visibility at night because you will have a load of splotchy bright light right in front of the car. Low beams are bad enough, but HIDs in fogs are worse. They cause massive amounts of glare for other drivers.... Also, HIDs are not meant to be flashed as it decreases lifespan, and also if you use aftermarket HIDs (which I'm 100% sure you will) their ballasts take a very long time to warm up and get the bulbs up to proper temp so you wont even have any usable light for around 15 seconds.... So they are definitely not good for high beams.

You should go to HIDPlanet.com and read about retrofitting. It is a simple process of baking your headlight, pulling the lense away from the housing, screwing a Morimotor Mini H1 or Morimoto Mini D2S projector into your bulb hole, placing the lense back onto the housing, rebaking the lights to heat the seals up again, and pressing/clamping them together until the lights cool down. That is it... At that point you will have REAL HID projectors which will blow OEM HID reflector setups away as well as some OEM HID projector setups, and you will have drastically increased nightime visibility and cause no uneeded glare for oncoming drivers. Retrofitting with either of the projectors I've just mentioned is cheap and easy.

Or, spring for OEM Rogue HID headlights (a bit more costly than doing a retrofit)...

I did a retrofit on my Accord that I traded in with Mini H1s, 4300k bulbs and Denso ballasts... With that setup I could see better than I can with my Rogue's OEM HID reflector setup so it is worth it. But don't just slap PnP HIDs into all of your lights... It is ghetto (no offense) and irresponsible as it compromises other drivers' vision for as long as you are coming toward them at night. Just my .02
