HID lights question?

Hay guys I just wanted to know if the HID 6000 or 8000 would affect my alternator any? I alread have 12' dual fans and they are both constently on. I also have a stereo system with 2 amps and a 12' sub. Thank for the info.

no , they shouldnt effect your alternator at all, and they look great, and perform even better, its great driving in the middle of the night and having those lights shoot so far, it makes u feel much safer, ive driven an o2 maxima with stock 6k bulbs i believe, and they are great

If you look at the technical specs of HID bulbs you'll see that they have a 35 Watt draw as compared to the 55 Watt draw of a typical halogen bulb.
