Yea i just ordered an HID conversion kit for my versa. There is a really good site: http://www.mod-express.com/, very good site for high quality HID's. And yes, you can change any of the bulbs on the inside of the versa. I did it. I got all blue LED's in the interior, except for the glove box because i actually didnt think of it. But i know you can change that one too. If you want a site for LED bulbs its:http://stores.ebay.com/MotoringMax_Infi ... idZ2QQtZkm

If you need any help, lemme know.

cool thank you, but there is no way of just buying the HID bulb and installing it without having the kit right?

High intensity discharge bulbs are a different technology and just the bulbs would not work just by trying to replace the standard halogen bulbs that come with the Versa.

There is no filament in an HID bulb. The Xenon gas is charged between the high voltage electrodes.

No you cant just replace the stock bulb with a HID one. You need the kit b/c it comes with a ballast for each bulb which powers each bulb. And yea the Versa uses 9003 or H4 Hi/Low

FYI, trying to convert a non-HID car to use HID's is never a good idea. You don't get as much useable light as you think and you piss off every driver on the road with the excess glare.

I have to agree. Every HID-converted car I've ridden in disappointed me. I don't understand the fad with HIDs. Yes, they are really white, but for example, my friend's are so white, that it's some kind of deep white that puts more strain on my eyes to see the road than my stock halogens. We're talking just 5000ks. I'd hate to ride in a car with 8000ks or something.

And as you said, when you come up on someone with HIDs in reflectors, it's horrible. At least halogen projectors converted to HIDs are still are friendly to the eyes.

its really not as bad as you say they are if you get the bulbs with the glare sheild and use the adjusters on the back of the headlightsoh and by the way these are 6000K

There's still a lot of glare from what I can see. Even if you use the "Reflector" specific HID's it still produces glare. Halogen reflectors are only designed to deal with so much light. And when you talk of using the adjusters, all you are doing is adjusting the glare lower and conversely reducing your forward lighted area.

the glare shield we speak of is part of the bulb assembly, its just a solid piece to insure that you emit light to the lower half of the headlight assembly.... so by doing this you make it so it doesn't look like you're cruising along with your high beams on all the time.... oh and just a quick FYI the Versa headlights are adjustable so you can aim them just rite....
