Are HID kits safe to use? is there anything i should look out for?

safe installation is safe to use

If the kit has weather safe insulation around connections then it is even better

I personally went with OEM ballast and OEM hid bulbs

how did u find something that fit from oem?

it is not 100% fit per say, the principle is to simply plug an unit + hid bulbs to an existing harness that provides positive and negative

I bought 2 oem ballast for is300 on ebay and some hella bulbs... all you have to do is plug them in

They sure are safe. I myself got two sets of Prolumen lifetime warranty kits in my fogs and lows. They're water-proof, too.
