anybody know if that double stick tape that comes with the xentec kits is good enough to hold the ballast in place? Its the only thing i used because the zipties weren't big enough to go around the ballast. I ended up sticking it to a ledge thing toward the top nearer the engine bay.

Just by your description... I think mine is in the same spot on the passenger side.

Yea, it's been a few months and still going strong.

Just make sure you tuck the shrowd into the bumper before screwing the bumper back on.

question i didnt even use the tape i just used all the zip ties for both sides to lock the ballast into place it was pretty tight. do you guys see a problem in that? i took off the wheel and went into the well to install this. tried to take off the bumper for 2 hours and ended up not comin off. FULL OF FAIL. so we decided to go through the wheels and to me i thought that was kinda easier, a lot easier.

so to anyone who installed through the well, that metal piece thats under then light, i used 3 zip ties to lock each ballast onto that piece anything wrong with that?

Thats exactly what i did. There was just not enough slack with 1 so i double upped the zip ties and they fit the ballist over the metal piece just fine.
