I have a 2008 Nissan Altima Coupe, 2.5L

I bought some new H11 Halogen bulbs for my headlights, but they really suck, so I want to transition over to an HID kit. I'm thinking of upgrading the low beams and fog lights first. Will do the high beams later, unless I can afford to buy all 3 at once. I was looking at some HID kits on ebay. Do you guys think this will be good for the lows and fogs? I would also get it for the highs as well (H9 bulb). http://www.ebay.com/itm/221176004731?ru ... 26_rdc%3D1

Also, I want it installed properly and I've been reading that it's not "proper" to just put the HIDs in, since it's made for halogens. What do I need to make this a safe and proper installation? Do I need anything additional like a reflector (whatever that means) and do I need a cancellor or relay?

I'm thinking of getting HIDs H11, 6000K for the low beams and fogs.

Don't know much about these things, so any advise or suggestions is appreciated.

Okay well,

Most people on here me included would say to stay away from putting HIDs in non projector headlight housing. It will just scatter the light instead of focusing it down on the road. Now I know that for the 08-09 coupes there are projector headlight housings that you can pick up on eBay but people have had mixed results with those.
As far as the HIDs your looking at I wouldn't put a whole lot of faith in those you get what you pay for a lot of the time. Look up DDM tuning for pretty good HIDs for not a ridiculous price. I have had them on multiple cars and never had a problem. I also would say to stay away from making your hi-beams HIDs, you want those to be bright instantly and the HIDs take a while to warm up which isn't good for hi-beam application.

Would also say to search the forum you'll come up with a lot of info from this kinda thing being discussed already.

Thank you for the advice! If HIDs sucks :) , are there GOOD and BRIGHTER Halogen bulbs you can recommend? I bought these on ebay and they SUCK! They don't shine very far and they are dull.

Again I would stay away from ebay for cheap halogen bulbs they are gonna be cheap for a reason. I would say try these but in the right bulb size obviously. http://www.amazon.com/Sylvania-SilverSt ... star+ultra

Have heard pretty good things about them. The other thing I have heard is that the brighter the bulb burns the shorter the lifespan it has. Don't know if this is true or not but its what I have heard.
