Hi all! New to the forums  . 2012 AC, 2.5s only though.  :frown:

Anyways, so while I was attempting to start installing my HID kit, I tried pulling back the front wheel well lining (after removing the one phillips screw), but there seemed to be another sort of clip or something that prevents me from pulling the lining back any more and I have no idea what it is or how to remove it. I don't know if it's an important piece so I didn't wanna break anything by brute force. To give an idea where it is, it's at about 1 o'clock on the right wheel well and 11 o'clock on the left. Can anyone help me with this?

Btw, sorry if this is a noob question. I'm fairly new to cars and this is the first time I've tried a DIY lol  :ohno:

It's just a 2 part plastic clip and it isn't important if you break it. The outer piece is a holder. The center part looks like a screw/pin and holds the liner in by expanding larger than the holder on one end. Pry up the head using a screwdriver and then pull out the screw/pin.
