i wanted to know if anyone knew how to or has changed out there hids on there altima

or does anyone know how hard it is to do them?

theres a kaboom amount of threadsbut hmmi had no car experience what i first started and the first thing i did was my HIDpretty simpletook me about 1 1/2 cause i had to find tools and stuff but yahardest part for me is mounting the ballast then closing the plastic part but its fine

well my homies car already has the stock hids but he wants to change them out for a diff k

so i wanted to know if it was just plug and play or any splicing was needed

it would be just plug and play. I upgraded my stock HID bulbs to 6000k from 4300k. Made quite a bit of difference. I would suggest matching the lowbeams with some HID fogs.

I recommend DDM tuning. http://ddmtuning.com/hidkihidbuhi.html Scroll down to HID bulbs and make sure that you choose D2R as that is what the stock HID bulb is. Choose the bulb "color" and buy them! If you choose to buy the fogs then the size would be H11 and i suggest the slim balast kit.

Oh and i see your out in Fontana. Let me know if you guys need help with installing them, im down to give you guys a hand, im up in the high desert (victorville). Oh and if your friend wants to see them before he buys let me know and ill meet up and show you what they look like in person.

well he bought them already from a local shop called r spec

but pm me with ur number or to get mine so we can meet up, possibly this weekend

Its not hard to do its just a big pain in the a** to do on the 4th gens

man i tired to install the my new hid lights its was crazy. I hate to take off the front bumper to install the kit. theres not alot of space to install the kif
