HID HELP PLEASE

Hi sorry i couldnt find my answer on here so i though maybe i can post it....I have a 2006 alty 2.5s and the lights are original....i wanted to upgrade to HID...i hear xentec or xenon is good, but what im confused about is the ballast and just bulbs...on ebay their selling H1 bulbs by them selves...sorry if im HID illetrate..but do i need Ballast's or just buying the H1 lights and changing it with the original is okay...also whats legal in NYC...i saw lot of users here have the Ballast correct me if im wrong.

you need a whole kit

the bulbs are for replacements..people with HIDs already

^I got the slim ones. You can get the bigger ballasts, it doesn't really matter. The slim ones are just more convenient and easier to find spots to mount them. Our car's bulb size is H11.

yea thnx i already ordered them cant wait till they come in....after ordering it it just came to me...N e problems with cops? i didnt get exterem HID's i stuck with 5000k i dont like being a cop magnet...but yea...are they street legal n e one knoe? just wondering

they usually r not legal but you can get away with it...

I hear nyc is fed up of fix it tickets its stra8 summons now...you have n e ideas of this?

no idea but with a 5000k or a 6000k u can usually pass as stock so i wouldnt worry about it...
