hid headlights

I was thinking about getting hid for headlights. But are the blue or purple colors good to drive with?

No, they all suck and blind drivers so stick with the OEM and close this thread.

my s13 came with hid kit, and i dont mind them, looks pretty clean with the s13 silvia projectors...

and yellow fog lights are ricey but im sure all of ^^^^^ are rocking them... :tisk:

the higher the K rating the less lumins they put out. another words stay 4200K-5200K which is what the majority of manufatures use for the HIDs :dblthumb:

+1 Anything higher than 6000k on s13 usdm or silvia front end is a :facepalm: in my opinion. I'll be getting 6k for my silvia bricks. White with a verrrrry feint hue of blue. Pure sex... But on new cars.. 8k (iceburg blue)is the limit IMO. I rock 8k on my Impreza

My HID's are really blue, what I noticed is they don't do s*** at like dusk. It'll definitely be dark enough for lights but won't do much. As well in total darkness they don't show as much detail as yellow lights or white lights do, gives everything a weird tint.
