Hey guys. I found a complete set of HID headlights for my Rogue and need some help here.

http://www.hidxenonheadlights.com/Nissa ... -HID-Kits/

If you look at the link, it shows the kit for $79.99 and includes 2 HID bulbs (8k), 2 ballasts/brackets and all neccessary hardware. What I need help with is, how difficult is this to do while sitting in my driveway. Is it too hard to pick up without a strong background as an auto mechanic, and furthermore, is this a kit worth spending the money for? It is significantly lower than some other kits I've found that don't include the bulbs.

Let me know as I'm itching to puchase this.

Also, how is this different that projection headlights?

i bought that set before and it was a poor quality HID, if i were you just add a little money and buy a good quality HID. and for difficulty and accessibility it was so easy and it will take you about 10 mins to 30 mins. it is basically plug and play and you just need a couple of tools to mount the ballast.

Bought mine for $30 on eBay, quality is good, can't really complain. Of course saying that, they'll probably crap out in the next month or so, but again, you get what you pay for.

As for installation, VERY EASY. All a matter of removing the stock bulbs, replacing them with the new HID bulbs (don't touch the glass), plug in all the connectors and mount the ballast. There's a nice flat spot atop each side of the fender wall where I used double-sided 3M tape ($5 at Home Depot) and they won't budge.

Simple. :dblthumb:
