HID headlight adjustment/2001 QX4-can't find...

I need to readjust my headlights on my 2001 QX4. I am so far unable to find the usual type of adjustment screws under the hood or near the headlight face that normally do this. Also I have the dash dial that adjusts headlights three 'clicks'. It also is non functioning. Anyone have any ideas here on either issue??? Thanks, Nitro

Anyone have an answer to this, I'm curious as well, one is higher than the other...

on the headlamp there are two screws. one is at the back inner side. it is a hex male screw. turn that for up or down focus. turn your lights on ,towards a wall and make carefull adjustment. do not over turn or else you will screw up the leveler (inside control knob 0-4). do not use force or the inside of the hex will worn out. it is plastic. if this do happen ,you would not be able to make any further adjustment and your levelizer motor will be jammed and fail to operate. you will then need an expert like me to take out the headlamp and disassemble it to fix the problem. the other screw is on top of the outer side of the lamp. this is used to adjust the light in or out. you will see the screw covered with a plastic in a hole at the corner of the lamp.
