So i just bought and installed a Xentec 5000k HID set on my car. My question is, are all H11 5000k bulbs the same? Say if i bought a H11 5000k blub from a "more know" (more known = more $$) would i see a difference in the light output, or are all H11 5000k bulbs the same, thus perform the same?

My next question is can I just buy any brand H11 5000k bulb and throw it on my Xentec balast since its already installed?

also i noticed a very faint humming sound coming from the area when i installed my balasts if i turn the headlights on with the engine off.....is this normal?

I have 6000k xentec and 5000k Xlight which I paid $80/each. Both seem to the same quality. I can't compare them to more expensive brand because these are the only two I have experienced with.

Where did you get the Xentec HID Kit for 80$?

I live in Ontario, CANADA and sellers I found on the Ebay

charges $100 for the shipping...

As for the Hid Kit itself, costs only $20~30

Is this a strategy that sellers to use to make their products

cheap and at the very top of the search list? Anyways

poke me one or two places to get HID Kit, a non-expensive ones

if possible~

Thanx!

This ebay seller used to sell X-light hid conversion kits, but now he is selling an unknown brand (he doesn't show the brand on the page).

It is about $80 shipped to Canada. You might want to send him a message asking what brand is it. If it is X-light, then you should get it. He's the guy that many of us have bought X-light hid conversion kits from.

Here's the linkhttp://cgi.ebay.com/HID-XENON-...l1262

This is the ebay seller I bought my Xentec kit. Not sure if he ships to Canada though.http://stores.ebay.com/HID4U

This is another seller that sells Xentec (slim ballasts). but charges $90 to ship to Canada! http://stores.ebay.com/HID-Direct

The only reason why he sells for 24.99 and 54.99 shipping is to pay less fee's to ebay. To list an item under $25 and when item sold the ebay charge him fee's from 24.99 - not 24.99 + 54.99. But when you are paying thru the paypal the fee is from the sum of 24.99 + 54.99.

I was doing these kind of tricks when was selling stuff on ebay. When you sell a lot you will save a lot. Listing items under $25.
