hello,

did anyone get HID from ddm tuning?

and does our altima coupe need a wiring harness also?
i was helping my friend change to hid (9006 bulb) but it also needed a wiring harness so...
im hoping h11 hid doesnt need extra wiring harness.

8000k 55w hid hehe what so you guys think??

i just recently got those exact same ones 55w 8k from ddm and people stay away from the 55 watt becasue they can melt your housing but no one seemed to expierence that for them selves and ive had no problems. i also did not purchase a harness and i have no flickering what so ever!

I ordered my HID's from DDM a few weeks back now. I bought the 35w ones, but i've had no problems with mine, no firing problems. And i didn't need a harness either.

radio seems to work fine with mine. i got 6k 35w hids and one side wouldnt turn on after a couple of weeks. Then i bought the battery harness and everything works perfectly. Now I am running 8k 55W and i have not noticed any melting. I think it's just a rumor

i got a 8k 55w, not the slim ballast.

i dont think you need to spend extra dollar on slim ballast.
the one i got is great. starts out slightly green to blue to light blue to bright white with hint of light blue.

since our alitma coupes have already a 55w outage so it looks even better with a 55w.

good luck

it might be a rumor or true but its all different from every car so...
maybe the guy with the melting housing was unlucky.

i have had my hid's about 2 weeks now and i drive alot at night.
dont seem to have any problems. when i come home and feel my headlights for heat, its really minimal.

since stock low beams are already 55w so there shouldnt be any problem with melting.

i've had my DDM 35w 6k HIDs for about a year now and no problems with the radio or anything. Just go with the regular ones (slim ballast is a waste of money), i have those without a harness and i haven't had any problems with them.

are you sure that stock is 55w output though? i've heard the melting housing rumor/truth/myth more than once...
