I am looking to swap my OE fog lights with HIDs but was unsure which temperature the OE headlights use to match them. I believe the M56 uses an H8 bulb which seems pretty easy to find with HID sets.

Any ideas if the M56 uses 4300k like the previous generation M45?

IDK about 4300K but I see that the factory is approximately 5K and yes M56 does use H8.

When I did HID fogs and HID headlights I actually matched them 10,000K in both which was overkill at the time. Now I use 6,000K and that's plenty. Obviously the higher K the less visible/usable light you have.

Color temp should be 4300k. The way Infiniti tunes their headlight projectors makes the light look more yellow than the projectors in some newer cars. So if you were to get 5000k or 6000k they won't match. They would be too blue.
