HID Fog light and led strips.

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

I have couples question, hope someone here will help me out.

1, I have a HID installed for the Low-beam, and I want to add the hid on fog light too. Could I just plug in and be ready to go, or do I need to add a harness?

2, If I connect a led strips throught the Parking-light wire, will it void the car warranty?

Welcome to the Site...

1) You'd probable need a whole new set-up (Kit) with Ballasts, Wiring and Bulbs... just like your Low-Beams have now.

2) I'm not sure if it will void your Warranty, but if there is a problem later due to wiring of any sort, they might say that your custom wiring modifications contributed to it. You never know, right?

Thanks your reply. I read the post here that someone burn their fuse when they installed the hid fog light. Do I need to put a harness?

You don`t need a harness for the fog lights, but make sure you don`t install a 55w HID ballast in there. 35W HID ballast and kit and you are good to go!
