DID THIS DUDE INSTALL 55WATT KIT? the stock fog bulbs are 35watts, if he installed a 35watt kit = there should be no problems.
he might have installed some cheapass big-ballast 55watt kits that they are giving away on ebay for almost free.

First thing i would check is to see if you hear the ballast (yes hear it) to make sure its actually getting power. Most aftermarket HID kits emit a little buzz, flip the switch in the cabin, get out and stick your head next to wherever the ballast is mounted, see what you hear. If nothing, then 1 of 2 things is probably wrong.

1) The polarity is reversed from the OEM harness to the aftermarket ballast. Happens all the time, in fact its almost expected from these aftermarket kits. All you need to do is rotate the plug 180 degrees and pop it back in.
2) Dude destroyed some OEM wiring. Through I dont see how he could unless he was a complete dolt.

Why didnt you just do it yourself? Where did you go and what did he install? If you cant figure it out hit me up and I might be able to come help.

i dont know a thing when it comes to electrical junk. but the guy who installed it was just a friend of my dads, and did it right in my drive way. hes been a mechanic for 10+ years. so i dont think he destroyed anything.

Has to be the reversed polarity then. The aftermarket harnesses are wired backwards 90% of the time, I have had 1 that was correct in 6 sets. Literally unplug it, spin it, plug it back in. Might have to wrap some e tape around it if the clips dont hold. Make sure you test it before you put everything back together this time!
