HID driver light fading... changing color.

my driver side HID looks like a stock 4300k now... the rest have a bluish tint. they are all 5000k - does anyone know what the hell? thanks... I have Xentec ballasts, no relays, and 5k bulbs...

I swear someone switched the bulb on me while I was asleep lol

Try switching the driver side bulb to the passanger, vise versa and then see if it's the bulbs itself. So after the switch if the bulb on the passanger side looks 4300k then it's the bulb. But if after switching and it looks the same then it must be the driver side ballast.

yeah, I wanted bright white 5k, and these 5k came bright white with a hint of blue... I posted pics, and errybody said that sh*t was normal... they didn't look right to me, but I don't care I paid close to nothin for em lol

My first lights which were X-Lights... I didn't have a relay on them. I got them wet and the passenger side ballast got fried. Before it completely went out on me... the light would change colors and looks exactly like you described.

Why didn't you go to yesterday's meet btw?

i might just upgrade to nissan stock HIDs... I'd rather spend the money and have the reliability of oem parts... i just remembered why stopped modifyin cars lol I don't have time to be under my car all the time damn LOL

Yea, I got the slim ones, I love them. They seem like they're better protected against the elements.

And they're easy to find spots to mount them.

I found sum slim ballasts on amazon for 60 bucks.. I'm prolly juss gonna get get to replace these... cuz i've had problems with these twice already
