HID conversion kit for 2003 G35 sedan (please help)

Okay so I found out that my car does indeed have halogens. However when I called the Infiniti service department and asked what I would need to do to get Xenon HIDs on my car they said I would have to do some re-wiring and get a new wiring harness etc in order to run the HIDs and that this would cost upwards of 5000 dollars. Are they just telling me this in order to get me to spend more just to buy "Infiniti"? Is there an after market conversion kit that others have tried and like on a (2003 G35 sedan original w/ halogens) that will cost about 650-700 dollars (without service) to convert both highs and lows beams into HID xenon lights.

Infiniti g35 is suppose to have stock HIDs (4500K) and Halogens is between(2-3K), but if you want to do the HID conversion kit of 6K and up then you will need a ballast, wiring, and bulbs. And it is pretty much simple to install yourself becuz it is plug-n-play becuz I did a HID conversion on my Honda but might be diffferent for infiniti. And check ebay for prices just make sure you dont buy some cheap brand.

the 03s you had a choice and HIDs were an option, but my car just has halogens. I was thinking about converting it with a philips or prolumen conversion kit, but i was told that they would not be a simple task to put on my car and in fact maybe not even possible unless i spend around 4k, but i was wondering if there was anyone out there with a 03 G who had halogens but converted them to HIDs and how? can i just do a simple conversion or am i stuck with halogens until i save up 4k which i won't do (or should i just get brighter halogen bulbs0?

Just look on eBay and buy a HID conversion kit and all you have to do is plug and play and mount down the ballast. Or if you are interested you can buy my headlight along with the HID. Let me know. I know it can't be 4K because I got a kit for my Honda for only $300. Dont let them rip u off!
