HID conversion for your fog lights

Has anyone converted their foglights to HIDs? I'm considering coverting my foglights to the yellow HIDs. I just really like the HID headlight and Yellow HID foglight combo.

Please post pics if you have any

Since the 2003-2004 M's are the majority here... I assume that is the year you are refereeing to. The thread starts off with my h3 piaa bulbs, but it soon turns into HID talk.

Thanks for the response CakeDaddy(I feel weird saying that) but I have a 06 M45.....Sorry for the confusion

LOL… its all good. Im sure the same app from the 2003-2004 will work for you. Those kits are universal.

Y50 M35/M45 uses the H11 bulb for the fogs.

easy to get done, I have seen an M with the yellow HIDs 3000K I think, someplace...

I did the conversion on my 06 but went with 10k to match headlights.

Yeah I have them done to mine.

Heres a pic:



6k headlights with 3k fogs both HID's

they look great!I get complements all the time, it's not hard.You don't even have to take the bumper off just go through the fog light covers.
