hey guys.. few questions.
What brands are good for HIDs?
Can you use HIDs without buyinga conversion kit?

Conversion kit? You can't just plop HID bulbs into your housing. You have to have ballasts to make them work. So I guess the answer is YES, you do need a conversion kit. I got an X-Light kit which looks awesome. Don't know about reliability and longevity yet though.
As far as quality goes, I'd say Sylvania would be a good, safe bet.
