Hid ballast
Hid ballast
My passenger hid turns on for 30 seconds then clicks and turns off. Changed bulbs and same result. Anyone else with the same problem?

Had the same problem, I just replaced the ballast and it works fine now. But changing the ballast is a pain. I had to take out the bumper. Let me know if you need any help replacing the ballast.

Thanks for the reply! Any suggestions where to get ballast's?(I'm from Canada if that makes a difference) Should they be OEM or will aftermarket do? I expect this should take at least 3 hrs to diy?

The ballast can be done in roughly an hour in your driveway by removing the wheel and wheel well liner. I remember when I did my projector retrofit on my old 4Runner, theretrofitsource had the same Panasonic ballasts Infiniti uses at a fraction of the cost.
