HID 8k Legal or Illegal?

I want to know if having HID 8K is illegal? Will I get stopped? I live in Manassas, VA.

Keep in mind, 8K is not brighter than stock - Just bluer.

6500 is about as bright as you'll find - Any higher than that and you're just changing color.

i have 8k and never had gotten stopped i would say get 6500k bc they are bright as s*** and very white....but 8k looks a lil bluer more of an off white/blue i like em

Ya I thought 8k would be a lot more blue than it is, but it's just a slight tint. I doubt you will get hassled but don't take my word for it, I don't know the laws over there

i think im going to go for the HIDs, i just don't want them because there just more work for me to do and i am really not into electronics as much as i am into performance.

so just to sound gay, i would rather save the 1 pound of wait lol

I think you'll be fine. Cops in Va suck, but i dont think they'll stop you for that.

8000k is good... i like a little more white in my lights imo.... 6000k is perfect i think... get it !!!!!!

i have 10k and i havent gotten stoped and i ride behind cops all the time

I have 6k and my gf has 8k. No trouble from the cops, but a few flashes from other drivers on the 6k. I wouldn't worry about it
