enough chit chat, lets start gapping plugs down and checking what we've discussed and narrow this sucker down...

Doing so will reduce cylinder pressure and if the spark was being blown out, bringing the pressure down will make it run like a champ again. Usually stumbles from spark blowout happen at peak torque which is where yours seems to be having these hiccups. Reduce plug gap and see if it works better. If it does (even for a short while), then it's narrowed down to a spark problem. Now you got to see if your coils are on their way out or if it's just a weak set.
This is what happened. Before I had 1 step hotter plugs + .030 gap if I'm not mistaken. I then went to 1 step colder and a .028mm gap and all was well for a while. Now it's back to doing what it was prior to swapping the plugs. How would I test the coils, because unplugging them when the car is still on won't do any good since the car runs fun @ idle and partial throttle.

a spark blowout is more of a stuttering and won't really clear up as you run more rpm/load.

^^^this. if it was a spark issue it would have gotten worse as the rpm increase as does the duty cycle of the coils. it acts like a lean speak and you deff have some lean spikes when it's happening so i would lean towards fuel as well.
