i've posted my car and it's issues up different places and i've had a R32 Skyline owner chime in on the removal of the HICAS. what's the J30 owner think?
First thing EVERY Skyline owner does with any sense is remove the HICAS. If you fully remove it, it will shave 100 pounds. The R32 are hydro, everything else is electric. Trust me, ditch the HICAS.

I dealt with that when my high pressure line had a leak.
Good way to build up upper body strength !!
What is wrong with it ?

How will it shave 100 pounds?

It doesn't even weigh close to that. More like 40 tops.

i'm guessing one of the lines sprung a leak when the rack bushings went bad. i had them replaced, but not the lines yet.

You must have flamed him something awful, fanboys will aways repeat what they hear in there fav jdm dvd, however, hicas was made to help curve up and down moutain roads without sliding like a jackass every turn.drifters hate it cause it makes it hard to control and the hicas system was easy to break,a pain to fix,but I loved my hicas 240

I have scared the crap out of many BMW, Mercedes and Audi drivers. The J may not have as much power as some of the models, I've run with, however with HICAS it corners like its on rails in the twistys!
