hicas swaybar bushing replacement

my hyperflex kit is on the way. however the rear hicas bar is the odd size of 21.5mm.

i got off the phone with energy sus. and they make a 20.5, 21 and 22mm size. i have to measure the bracket to make sure it fits but i'm concerned it will not fit.

has anyone with the hicas bar replaced the d-bushing, and if so where/whom did you get it from? not looking for stock squishy rubber replacement. want urethane stiffness.

Where did you get 21.5 mm for the Hicas rear bar? According to the FSM, and every other place I've seen it written, the Hicas rear bar is 21 mm. I have a 91 Hicas, and I have all the Energy suspension bushings except for the rear sway bar bushings. I was just going to buy a universal 21 mm bushing and bracket after I measured it to make sure it will work.

where did i get 21.5 from, by using a crescent snugged up and measuring the gap. not scientifically exact, but it was close right. let me know how that bracket measures up. per energy their universal fit goes in a bracket that is 3 5/8 long 1 3/8 tall, bolt pattern is 2 1/16-2 7/8. he said most of their stuff fits gm and ford so the fit would be iffy unless they used the same sized bracket.

no i like the hicas now. last 2 a/x here have been wet and rainy. and hicas helped keep me on course several times.

Yeah shut up, the sway bar has nothing to do with the HICAS system. The hicas cars came with a larger rear swaybar the the other 240's. I belive it's the same as the 'mad jayDM tite' ones that came stock on the 180's over there.People who talk down HICAS have nver driven it, let alone seen a HICAS car.

I have hicas, i hate it. I want it gone. it almost killed me. get rid of it.... sorry for the outburst, but yeah hicas is good for anything but drifting.
