I have a 1992 vert.

How do I find out if it has a HICAS suspension ?

Verts never had HICAS IIRC.

only 91-93 dohc hatches had hicas. They will have a viscous orange sticker on the diff, ABS unit under the hood, 2 outlets off the PS pump, "hicas" side molding strips, and tie rods sticking out of the rear suspension.
