i dont think hicas matters. its just a myth that has spread. do a search.

my car up until recently was a hicas. springs and struts are all the same be it hicas or non hicas. if you want to get real ballzy. swap out that subframe. took me 4 hours with 2 jack stands a double pumper jack and a craftsman tool set. not hard.
