hicas+rb25det

I was wondering if anyone could help me out. Will the hicas system get in the way or even work with a rb25det in a s14. Some say it will get in the way or not even work. Would i be better just getting a base model and just do the swap and get 5 lug?

i wanna know about the hicas thing too. was there rb25s that offered a hicas ps pump? id like to retain hicas if i do the rb swap. EDIT: i forgot to mention i have an s13 with w hicas.

is your car n. american? last i heard, hicas was not offered in the s14 in n. america. i could be wrong, but i doubt it (japanese s14 and s15's came with hicas).

only the s13 came with hicas as an option

The z32 TT had the HICAS in the US. I thought that the 240's did not.I could be wrong also.

No clue hoe the RB's will work with the system.

If we have the info here I would also like to know about the VDC that the Z33 has and how it would work or not work with an RB swap.

S14's didn't get HICAS. But I think the Skyline GT-S did, didn't It? Is that what he Is asking? My dome hurts... must go sleep...

yeah, i knew they came with some ish, not too keen on anything 2000 model year and up.

oh, and the amount of work need to istall hicas on an s14, i hardly doubt it would be worth the trouble, or the coin.

but an AWD platform from the RB26 series would be freaking cool
