How rare are these things? I have one off a 91-92 Q45t.

Anyone know if the J30T and Q45 use the same HICAS rack and other HICAS components? How come I never see any posts about Q45s wih HICAS? Do they corner as good as J30s with HICAS? I even see people talking about removing HICAS on Q45s, was it a flop and poorly implemented? I would never want to remove HICAS from my 94 J30T.

I can see removing the hicas system. Most people do that on 240's but this is the front rack - better steering angle.

1990-1993 Q45's shared the same rack with the Q45a, Q45t and Base Q45 with out without TCS. In 1994-1996 is when the steering became slower and only Q45t's had the "faster" rack.

So I would say its not really rare.

I think that the J30 HICAS system is the same ad the Q45 system. But I have no idea why people would want to remove the HICAS from a Q. And I know that people that drift 300ZX's don't want HICAS because it makes it hard to drift, But who in there right mind would want to professionally drift a Q45???

I can see doing it for fun though.

I should replace mine... it may be whats causing my steering to stretch during turns and usually puts the steering wheel off-set from the alignment when it returns to the center/driving straight.

If you have a good price - include shipping.... i may buy it from you.

Also whats the mileage of the car its from? condition? how bout the rubber parts? what extra screws/nuts and other parts does it come with? would it be an easy lift the car and R&R or is it slightly more complicated?
