Hi I just installed a Hicas pump into a non-hicas 240sx with SR20det. I did the mod where you can use the pump instead of a regular pump. The only thing is that there is a slight sound coming from the pump I believe. Does this mean it is bad? Or has the fluid not ran it's way inside the rack and everything? Has anyone had this problem? Also, what are the usual symptoms of a bad pump? Sorry for all the questions, but I am a little concerned. Thanks

did you raise the car up evenly and turned the wheel full lock from right to left? try that because maybe there isnt fluid fully circulated in the system.

BTW, u still have those KYBs?

Well I turned the wheel full lock from left to right while it was on the ground. Does it need to be up? Also yea, I still got them for you. Just been busy swapping a motor in a friends celica so I can buy my 5 lug conversion. Hit me up tomarrow.

the car must be off the ground because you are applying load to the rack. do it in the air and lock it for 2 seconds, then alternate accordingly.

yeah i just finished my 5 lug conversion. i need s14 wheels man. the rx7 wheels fit like crap. let me know when i could get them.
