Is there any difference in pressure on the two high pressure outputs from the hicas power steering pump? I have a hicas 240, and I would like to retain the hicas. If I can reverse the hoses without any ill effects, then I can get the hoses on no problem. Otherwise I will have to get custom lines made due to the way the ends are setup

Thanks!

you dont need to swap the hoses round they fit, just takes some time making them bend the right way, trust me my s13 was a hicas car.

Pressure is regulated by separate valves located inside each port (front and rear). The pressure is probably the same or similar. However, there is a rather large difference in volume. The front impeller pumps far more fluid than the rear pump. That won't matter when you're driving down the interstate, but when you try to parallel park at Arby's, it might get a bit difficult to turn the wheel.
