The parts guys are real nice and decent people at O'regans. The parts guys have no say and are mere employees that are fully controlled by the O'regans. O'regans as a family and business are bunch of low life thieves and are greedy little pigs and even sell parts over MSRP and will not hesitate to strip you clean of every dime you have. The service department personnel should be employed in the streets of Brooklyn shootin dice/ craps.driverdriver wrote:Did you go to the dealer on Kempt road? When it was Steele owned dealer it was good, but ever since O'Regans took over the place has gone to !@#@%%
Keep us posted with your progress. Get the car out of O'regans and don't go there! Everybody's been burnt by O'regans at least once. Don't feel bad.techtrader wrote:I have a 1994 Infinity J30T and I have a Power Steering Fluid leak where the line meets the Fail Safe Valve. The line is rotted for about 3 inches. This is the line that goes over the axel and connects to the Rear Steering Rack. My Infinity dealer says the line is no longer available and I have to get one manufactured and oh by the way we have to leave your car on the hoist while you get this made at $100 per hour. They say it is a minimum 8 hour job to drop the rear sub frame to get at the line and do the repair. This assumes they don't break anything else in the process. So it will cost a minimum $1,000 to $1,500 plus the possibility of them having to replace the Fail Safe Valve if they can't work with it and any other issues that arise from this pain in the *** system.
I saw mention of a kit that can bypass the HICAS system. Does anybody actually know where to get this kit and will it lock the rear wheels?
Does anyone have a better remedy to this problem?
Thanks in advance
