The Hicas system is a love it or hate it kind of technology. You really need to experience one at track speeds to truly "feel" it and then decide whether you like it or not. Some people like it, others feel it's unpredictable at speed, most have never even heard of it and hate it just because others say it sucks.
As for swapping one in, finding the parts shouldn't be that hard but there is alot involved. There's a hicas computer, a couple of sensors, the rear subframe and p/s pump and not mention all the hoses and misc wiring to make everything work properly. For the amount of time spent TRYING to make it work your probably better off buying a hicas car trying it out and then selling it if you don't like it.
Bottom line is you need personal experience to make an informed decision on something like this. I went hicas on accident (didn't know what it was when I bought it) and I doubt I'll ever take it out.
