Hicas Light Stays On.

Lately my hicas light would come on and after a few minutes of warming up it would turn off. Every time, it would stay on longer. Now, for the past few days it just doesn't turn off. What do you guys think this could mean and what are the common problems with the hicas system? If it matters any, I have a redtop sr but haven't had any problems since the install about 3 months ago. Thanks.

Check your PS fluids lately? When its cold, my HICAS light stays on too on my Z. It goes away when the car warms up.

I second the thought of checking the fluids. The level goes up as the fluid gets warm.

I have a similar problem with my HICAS light..........stays on until the car warms up; didn't start doing it until the weather turned cold; had the same problem last year in Maine and it hasn't been the same since then; I have checked the fluid levels both cold and warm, and I have plenty of fluid; last year, mine evolved to a leak, but a bottle of stop leak about a year ago seemed to have fixed it until the cold hit; any ideas would be appreciated
