hicas fuse keeps blowing

So i just got my 90z tt running and replaced the hicas fuse under the dash and the abs and hicas light goes out. Go for a drive around the block and it blows the fuse again, unplug the steering angle sensor and plug it back in and replace the fuse again and no problems. Drive the car around and start to get into a turn and the fuse blows and the hicas abs lights come back on.

Does anyone have any experience with this? I want to have a functioning hicas before i decide its not for me. Im going to get a diagram and start testing things but i was hoping someone might have an idea or some experience to get me started on my diagnosis.

Also should point out that i cant get the hicas diagnostic to work. Anyone on here using nissan data scan who can verify if it brings up hicas functionality and codes? Im strongly considering purchasing everything to try it
