HICAS 240sx

hay i got a super HICAS 240sx and a friend told me that you cant put an after market steering wheel on a HICAS 240sx because of the steering angle sensors.is it true ? is there and way you can ?

No as in your friend has no clue what he's talkin bout. Hicas only really changes the ps pump because its bigger for the rear steering.

thanks but super hicas is more advance then hicas and has its own computer to control the system and a censer in the steering wheel. so you can put an after steering wheel on super hicas and normal hicas.

there is no super hicas and normal hicas. the super hicas is the only hicas option for the s13, its just that most people on nico will refer to it as a hicas instead of taking the time to type out super hicas. you can put another steering wheel on your hicas. the only difference is the the ps pump since the back wheels turn as well, and the steering rack seeing as it has a quicker ratio
