Hi ! i just got my first 240sx 1992 , my first ever tuner car . i have been looking online for after market parts like body kits , cold air intakes .... Really everything i can think of for the car . I know i need to start with engine first just dont know what .. would love some input . The engine and trane are in good shape ..

first make sure the car doesnt have any issues. then suspension. then power. then looks. in any other order you end up with a ridiculous car.

i loved seeing an sr'd hatch a few months ago with stock suspension... that s*** was hilarious. the chassis could NOT handle the power. kinda looked like it was on hydraulics.

which brings me to another point... please please PLEASE keep it clean and functional. Ricey s*** like stickers, wings, and scoops are disgusting. if you plan on doing things like that, dont expect our approval. I know, I know, you're thinking "well i dont care what they think", but people who do put that s*** on their cars then show us tend to get flamed and b**** about it.

lastly, for now, learn to use the search button. for the love of god.

First car? doesnt need power. And for gods sake stay away from body kits your not in the fast and furious. Look into good coilovers, dont buy the ebay over shock coils. They dont work. Then maybe intake and exhaust. You can order good cheap parts from ebay just dont but stuff like no name turbos or blow off valves. Pretty much anything with moving parts you want to go name brand. But most of all have fun with it. Anytime it rains get the b**** sidewayz!

Every build has its own priorities. I built my engine first, then i'll do suspension. It was my first priority to build the engine. So no it doesn't make the car rediculous.

Lets have a car that is slammed on 18x10 wheels and it can't even move. -_-;
