Hey guys, new to the forum. I drive a Tiida over here is Australia.

Currently I've got a complete pioneer setup in it and I've replaced the wiper blades with the same ones as on the late model European cars and the VE commodore. getting the bumpers color coded soon.

looking into a set of tein coilovers as well but will prolly go with lowered springs as i don't race this car. The $24 strut braces on ebay aren't bad either as i got one of those. couldn't find one here in aus. Also got a K&N filter that was a special order since australia doesn't seem to have anything aftermarket for the tiida/versa.

currently trying to track down the front end of a tiida from japan with the projector headlamps. still waiting on what the guy can find. but its $1500 a side here as well. kinda crap.

I'll upload some pics if i remember.

Ellimist.

welcomei'm from aus too (nsw though) how much the K&N pod set you back? I ended up ordering the AEM intake from the US which pipes the pod down to behind the foglight, fits nicely. ended up costing about $300AU delivered off the top of my head...

oh yeah as for your suspensionjust a set of king springs is your cheapest option - i have had this setup since i bought my car new in oct 06

second cheapest option is a set of tanabe coilovers from versaspeed.com (USA)

TEIN have coilovers available however it specifies they are for the HR15DE (1.5L) japanese models so I am not sure if there are differences in suspension design for those models or what. The TEIN SUPER STREET DAMPER setup is approx $1700 delivered to australia.. pretty pricey.

the king springs make the car handle nicely, only problem is that they are not low enough in my opinion. i had the option of getting them made to a custom height but just went with the standard "low" option of a 1.5" drop.

the K&N filter is a direct replacement for the OEM filter and cost me $70 AUD.

as for the tein coilovers they do do a set for the C11 with a 1.8mr engine but they were gonna set me back $1500.

the reason king springs don't do a lower option is that you will need to change the shocks to a short stroke shock to go lower than 1.5" they said when i called em.
