Hello. First post on this site. I really didn't want to start a thread, but I couldn't see where else to put my comment, so if it belongs somewhere else, move it, or just let me know. Anyway, I've been an Altima owner for the past ten years. 5 cars total. In March, I bought my Coupe, and earlier this month, bought the wife a beautiful 3.5 White Sedan (with everything). God, that car is awesome, but I still love my coupe the best. Anyway, the reason I'm writing is just to say that this site is the best. I only recently discovered it. I've learned an incredible amount of information, without even posting a question. Searched out everything, and there was my answer. What have I learned? Well, my airbag light went on after some idiot looked at my car. Fixed that. Thank you very much. TPMS light went on. Fixed that. Thank you very much. I learned a hell of a lot about audio. I'm an old dude, so I didn't want a killer system, but wanted an upgrade in sound. I learned so much in the audio section. I'm sure you'll scoff at me, but I'm having a system put in tomorrow...keeping the head unit, and adding ARC Audio 6.5 components in the door, 6X9's in the rear, and an amp. Running me about $700. A very reputable place is putting in the system. I'd surely screw it up myself-if I tried the install. I also just ordered a Stillen lip spoiler for the coupe. Next, will be some nice(er) wheels. Anyway, sorry to go on for so long. But, if not for this site, I'd know 'jack' about all of the accesories that enhance these cars. Not sure how my wife feels about my purchases.

So, thanks to all.

Thanks, everyone for all of your 'welcoming' comments. Hopefully, I won't tick any of you off in the near future. I've learned to watch the silly sarcasms. It doesn't fly out here in cyberspace. Anyway, thanks again.

Oh, and LongBeachCoupe, if you'll be cruising around the central valley, might want to take a car cover along. I'm about 60 miles from Yosemite, and with all the fires, I've woken up to ashes all over my car for the past week.

So, why does my car stay outside instead of in the garage where it belongs?I'm married-that's why. And, she's worried about her new little Sedan getting dirty. Funny thing about that...I do all the car washing, and she's the one who's worried. I was at the coast all last week, and took an incredible drive up highway 1 (for those that don't know, it's a small windy road, right along the coast, 300 ft. drop, straight down). Anyway, driving the coupe was, simply, ***-kicking good fun.

take care,R

Rusty... something i learned here is that car covers are more bad than good..

Picture a slightly dirty/sandy car... with a bag around it like (shake n bake)... thats whats happening to your paint when a breeze comes by...

Car covers should only be put on a 100% clean car!

Ive got a rental "seabring convert. or equivalent" im picking up in sacramento
