Hi im new to the furoms, I just recently bought a red 240sx and I love it but I do have a question, It's about exhuast. I really love magnaflow's they sound great and nice performance well that is in the car's I have seen them in so I don't want to just assume that there good in all car's. My question is will a straight threw magnaflow will work good in my car without me fearing loss of compression?? Do the 240 need compression made by the exhuast?? thanks for any feedback

you cant lose compression through exhaust. im assuming you mean backpressure. if the magnaflow is 2.5" piping in diameter or less, you wont loose too much backpressure. but if you have hopes of turbo, whether it be SR, or KAT or whatever, you should probably save your money and get a 3", in my opinion.

thats the truth. ^ compression is inside the motor, exhaust doesnt affect it, but backpressure yes, its more important on a turbo car, but wont kill u on a na moto
