hi, i am new to the 240 world, i havent bought one yet but i'm in the process of looking for one. looking for a 97-98 one, (i only like the angry eyed version) and i was wondering on the different trim models and the difference between them.

btw, i am hoping for a silvia conversion (i just came to america for college)

The 97-98 looks exactly the same as the Silvia in Japan. The only difference between the trim sizes is the base model has four lugs and no strut bar, the SE has five lugs and a strut bar. Other than that its just the options they can have on them.

I saw a girl an Asian girl on the highway in a 98 240sx base. Very nice. Too bad I didn't have mine yet.

The 98 base has LSD??

yea, you may have to look for a long time to find the car you want. i was lucky, i didn't have to look very much at all.

Thanks for the reply:)I have some more questions. What is the stock offset? and also what's the diff. between special edition and basic(?) version? I want to know more about 240 (especially S14), where can I find info. about specific details about this car? *** by the way, excuse my language...... I'm still learning English!****

your english is good! there is a FAQ at the top of the page where you chose your thread. click on it, and read away. you'll learn alot.

it's a good sign! Of course. when you guys wanna come to TokyoAuto Salon I'll be the transrater. There are all kinds of beautiful cars (lots of Silvias!) and parts and everything..... take pictures, test drive, eat good food....... and look more cars. Fun, Fun, Fun......

haha...went on vacation. Im goin back to McGuire tomorrow. Yes i know, shes been neglected for a month. Imma prolly have to bathe her monday after work. Hey atleast i know its still there and my *so-called* friends havent left it on bricks like they claimed they would.

The SE had a built-in rear strut bar. You probably do have it and just don't know it.
