, blow up. luckily my father was kind enough to lend me some money (im a poor college student) to get something new. While it wasnt a lot, I wanted to get something sporty. in the past I have owned an 95 Laser XT turbo, 89 Baretta GTU, 92 Mazda MX-3 GS, 93 Prelude Si, and a 95 S-10(4.3L V6). Out of all of them I loved my prelude the most. My Fiancee has an accord which drives great, so my inclination was to go honda. I really wanted to find something that was quick to start with and could easily be made quicker when money becomes available. Ignorantly I assumed it could only be a honda product . To make a long story short, I couldn't find any honda that was affordable that wasn't already molested by some kid (3 foot wide exhaust tip, 70 inch wheels :rolleyes ) so i had to look for something else.
I happened to stumble upon a 1993 240sx. I went to look at it and thought it was cool looking and figured I would settle for it.
Then I go online and research the car and whoa!! never realized how much potential these cars have. And to top things off, the guy i am buying the car from is Jeff from Heavy Throttle, who was nice enough to show me his ride. This i think is the equivalent of a drug dealer giving out a free sample to get someone hooked.
needless to say I will be saving my pennies to transform my car.
