Welcome Alon

The meetings you are looking for take place frequently in The Politics forum where liberals like me take a lot of crap from the whiners that still can't figure out why the republicans lost the election. :wtf2:

Here we mainly discuss oil and mostly gas and there are some here that have plenty of gas :chuckle:

Happy Thanksgiving

Alon, welcome to NICO. I'm sure there are meets in your area and you can reach out to the NICO California region here to see if any members here know of any: NICO California Region

I also suggest visiting your "local" automotive forum for events that may be posted there as they would know what's going on.

Oh, and ignore Howies comments above about the Politics forum, he's just a grumpy old man who is dealing with senility and living on Gov cheeze. ;)

<we still love our Howie regardless of his slanted views  >

hi,
thanks guys, I will check out the other forum too, good to know there is a place that i can get some info about the oil,
actually my first question, when i bought the car i extended the warranty bumper to bumper from the dealership, i'm second owner, got it from Miller Infiniti, so the question is, if i have to maintenance the car in the main Infiniti workshop or Miller so i'll be under the warranty? or am I allow to do it where ever i want even by my self? replacing oil filter etc,
I don't want to get to situation i need the warranty and shake it off because of that
thanks, sorry about my English,

I have been changing my own oil for 30+ years as well as most of the other stuff not covered under warranty. I did have an issue with my 05 G35 and Infiniti questioned me on the maintenance. I provided my log (mileage/date/maintenance item) as well as receipts for oil and filter and there was no issue. They said that they had to clear it with corporate, but whatever. They fixed my issue and it was not a big deal. They did say that if I had warranty issues in the future, it might take an extra day to clear it with corporate. I told them that was fine cause I was enjoying driving their new G37 loaner!!! LOL.
Bottom line, keep receipts and log your maintenance and you will be fine!!
Welcome to Nico!!
Make sure to check the Factory Service Manuals (FSM) that they have here. Will save you some $$$$

If you are in the US then they are breaking the law unless they can prove you did something wrong which caused the problem.
