Hi New Quest owner

Hi all, Just traded my 05 Xterra for an 06 Quest. So far liking it. Question though. ON the radio it has a button that says SAT. Does this mean my radio already has a sat tunrer installed and I just need to activate it or that its sat ready and nad i need to get the tuner for it.

It could mean either. The satellite radio tuner kit was a dealer installed option, so if you have it, you just need to subscribe. Otherwise you need to buy the tuner kit.

Look for the tuner kit...it'll be somewhere with labelling visible because it has an ID number printed on it that you need in order to subscribe.

Typically the Quest didn't come with Sirius or XM. The SAT button is there if you ever want to add it. I did eventually add it in my Wife's 2004 Quest. It wasn't too hard took about 1 hour to add the module and plug in the harness. the longest part is running the antenna wire.
