Hi all! I just recently got a 1998 QX4! I did a little research and wanted to know if anyone has done a front end conversion to a 2001? What all you think I would need for it? Also anyone has aftermarket wheels (not all chrome or anything like that but decent 15' or 16' where i can still go off roading). Im painting the car as well (factory color). I will post picture after the paint job =) just wondering about the front end. Thanks!

wow those are both amazing cars. as for the front end conversion its totally doable you just need to find the parts...youll need a bumper, grille, and headlights at LEAST to get it done. with money anything can be done lol one guy was selling a pathfinder on ebay that had an m35 (i think) front end... good luck with your new q im sure youll love yours just as much as we love ours!

Qxxx4, Thank you for replying! So when you say "At least" on the front end, what all do i need to make it "complete"? I'm guessing maybe fenders? But is there more? A Pathfinder with a m35 front end?! Whoa any pix by any chance? That sounds wild! Thanks again for the help!

actually theres a guy here on nico who did a conversion with only the headlights, and he trimmed some of the grill. He says it isnt perfect but pretty damn close. and it looks good in pictures. i cant find the photos right now but this must have been about two or three months ago

ive seen that one, gold colour right? it doesnt look as good as a full conversion. if your gunna spend the cash you might as well do it all. The bumper and fogs of the 01+ are a huge factor in the facelift. Thats something that annoys me about our q's that foglight and signal area are kind of a turnoff, theres just too much glass there. Im gunna screw with tint and see if i can kind of tone it down a bit.

Thanks! Your right about the fogs, didnt look into that much until now. Guess I will start looking around salvage yards. Know anywhere beside ebay where I can get a few front end pieces from?

i found the photo of the conversion 2001+ headlights on a 99 too bad the grille guard is in the way, hiding what i assume to be gaps....
