HI! just wanted to introduce myself
HI, just wanted to introduce myself.Right now i dont own a car, my baby blue got totalled late last month and ive been looking for a new project car. ive always liked early 90`s S13`s and late 90`s S14. (sorry guys with the mid 90`s S14...) i had been debateing on getting a new SRT-4 and leaving it stock (yeah... right) or getting a 92/93 S13 dropping in an SR20DET or RB25DET and makeing a menice of myself at the local 'cruse strip. i have obviously decided on the latter... hence.. why im here.Im no stranger to excessive tuning to get the car right. or to busted knuckles and long down time. I had just replaced the clutch in Baby Blue 2 days before some moron cut across traffic and got T-Boned.Anyway, baby blue was a Supercharged 2002 Saturn SC2. like i said, no stranger to tuneing. unfortunately she never saw the rollers after the blower was installed but best estimates put 170FWHP (up from 110stock) (also why i had to ditch the stock paper-plate clutch with an ACT 4puck) Ive been around on MANY forums before so i know the code of conduct. (nice flashy SEARCH button.. wish we had that on turbosaturns.net)so far ive gotten alot of goooooood info. well thats all for me for now. -DA

welcome aboard man, hope you enjoy your stay, and as a side note if you are looking for another great forum might i reccomend http://www.tripleplate.com (used to be autoworldforums.com) not really great for cars (not bad tho) but its mroe like a brotherhood then anything

Exactly! Also, you can get quite a bit of attention/odd looks at meeting spots by running up and kneeing the hell out of the doors..ahhh, the good old daysDark Apollo wrote:eh.. less weight. no dents, no rust to worry about, etc. i liked it cause my neighboor always ALWAYS hit my car with her doors.

well. a friend of a friend has an `89 240 with the SR20 with all goodies (FMIC etc..) 1/2 way swapped (engine is sitting on the floor and the 240 is with out engine). he is selling it for $4k. i think ill wait till the swap is done and the car is running. he wants to get rid of it before the gas prices go up and more, and ive been with out a car for 4 months now (3 months the saturn was on down time, got it running then it got wrecked last month)
