sorry my first post had to be a question, but i just got done swapping a Neo 6 into my s13... and the only gripe i have is i get horrible gas mileage... what are some of you guys getting with your rb25s? maybe i can compare... i searched and could come up with any definitive answers..

i get about 120 (if im lucky) to a full tank everything is stock except for a filter and axhaust.

im thinking it could be because i dont have an adjustable FPR, but i couldnt find a post that confirms my assumption.

my car drives/boost/idles PERFECTLY. so im not sure on why its eating soo much gas

i vaguely recall a post about this in the past but am to lazy to search myself this early in the morning. umm... lead foot?

nevermind... i did a search in the rb section for a thread topic called "gas milage"

it returned this

zerothread?id=113126

survey says...

you have a lead foot.

what fuel pump are you using? it may be overpowering your fuel pressure regulator.

Is your fuel system sealed properly? as in when you take the gas cap off, there is pressure escaping. If not, your gas could be evaporating.Mine hasn't sealed after I replaced fuel pump. I will need to fix that soon.

nice answer bud..

anyways... im not really worried about it... its just that i get worst gas mileage with my rb than i did with my SR with a bad coil pack, bad 02, and a leaky injector... i would have thought being stock it would at least be a little better.

vkoslak, im using the walbro 255lph...im thinking it could be that because my FPR is still stock.... just wanted to see some opinions or some solid proof.

I was considering putting liquid gasket around my brand new o-ring. :/ I'm using a 300zxTT pump.

Boostfed. I would recomend getting a fpr. I have one, but I blew my turbo right after I put it in so I havent had a chance to see if my fpr made a difference in gas mileage. I was getting about 20mpg before though.

well in my puny 20 i drove to NH ( i live in Southern RI) and back on half a tank of gas. I dont know the exact milage but it was like 2.5 hours each way, averaging 70mph id say. PS i boosted a lot racing other cars, showing off for girls etc.

PS the girl i picked up (GFs friend) says...

"why does it sound like air is whooshing somewhere"

lmao never heard that one before.

But yeah i get good milage driving like a d!ck
